ABOUT DOORJAMDoorjam is the open mic evening which takes place at The Stage Door pub on Sunday night from 7:30pm to 11:00pm .
If you are a singer/songwriter all you need to do is turn up early to The Stage Door before 7:30pm and ask Dave or 'the man on the mixing desk' to put your name down.
Singer/songwriters are allowed to play 2 songs to start with and if there's time at the end of the evening you get to play an extra song.
On Saturday night from 8:00pm - 11pm The Stage Door hosts a gig night where artists who have played at the Doorjam open mic play an extended half hour or one hour live set. If you are interested in playing a Saturday night gig please come down to the Doorjam open mic on Sunday night and speak to Dave or Natalie .
The venue has an excellent sounding 450w Mackie PA going through a Mackie Onyx mixer with a 100w Carlsboro monitor, three mics, music stands,an upright piano and an in house guitar if needed.
